At the end of the day, To Pimp a Butterfly will be one of those albums that will be mentioned along side of the greatest of all times. 1989 won't have that luxury, just like about 75% of AOTY winners.

The good thing is he won best rap album, and wasn't snubbed twice like 2013. I'm also glad BBTM won Urban Contemp (though Miguel should've won that) along with Black Messiah winning R&B. The Grammys wasn't a total flop. But they're still scared of awarding black artists with their most important award.
