I honestly think this is it. People treat Beyonce like a God so I can imagine all the closeted haters feeling like they were sticking it to her by not voting for her purposely. It comes with the territory though so it is expected. She is the biggest star of our time.

And the fact that she didn't campaign probably didn't help either.

But I think at this point in her career, she's not looking to win awards for awards sake. I think her mentality is that if she wins, it's an honor to be recognized by your peers, but if she doesn't she's still getting her message and stories across.

This is someone who was getting legend awards at 24. I'd get bored of the politics by this point too.
