Who cares if Star Wars has strong role models for minorities Rey is a horrible Mary Sue of a character and the whole film is a redux of A New Hope. They should have kept Lucas as the story creator (not screenwriter or director) because the new film has ZERO imagination. Terrible.
They're always on edge for some reason. I feel like the majority of Katy stans would abandon this site if she ever had an album perform like Britney Jean.
Doubt she will anytime soon seeing as she's kind of on top of the world/the charts with every album so far and receives extremely impressive recurrent sales/streams/views during her hiatuses. Tity isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The sooner some of y'all realize that, the sooner you'll be able to let go of your OKH ways.
Yeah no @Pop, this goes beyond stanning. I'd have no problem with her Beyonceing her way into a nomination if she was actually supporting something worth supporting.
The Hunting Ground is a farce and a third wave feminist lie. Look it up.
Gaga's song isn't advocating the destruction of proven innocent (R Kelly) or acquitted (R Kelly). It's just a song.
The movie doesn't do those either. It's basically trying to get women to talk about these issues because many people feel like it's impossible to prove you were raped (it kind of is) and they're scared or embarrassed about it. The "believe survivors" message isn't a way of "destroying free society!!" it's about making people feel safe to talk about their experiences.
Yeah, you officially lost it there & it's not even just frat parties. Here we don't have fraternities but college parties in general were a mess & definitely a Hunting Ground.
WHEW, what a perfect title for a documentary, no wonder it's theme song was nominated for an Oscar
The film totally misrepresents facts and throws around ludicrous statistics (the 1 in 5 claim, which if true would be higher than any crime statistic for anything in the United States, even the most dangerous cities). You can look up the issues with that 1 in 5 statistic yourself, there's been plenty of research on it. It's completely and utterly wrong, it's closer to 1 in 130.
Katy fans are outcasts from different fanbases destroyed by the power of Gaga. They all ran to her when Gaga had a moment of weakness in 2013 and will ditch her the moment she flops, which will be with her next project.
But at the very least the film was snubbed from Best Documentary, so there was a bit of cosmic justice. The song at least deals more with the feelings and the emotional aspect, but it's still tied to the propaganda so I can't take it seriously
Regardless of the movie making up statistics or not (1 in 5 or 1 in 130 is still a lot of people) it's message is simple and obvious.
Casey AnthoNey abused her kids, dropped them, fed them meth, left them playing in drug pins, was drunk and crazy around them, brought them around insane men (Lufti and Federline; god knows who else), etc. and the court system still gave her kids back to her because they're biased towards women. THAT is sick.
