Basically, she flopped for the FIRST time album wise.
After the circus era she got lazy and comfortable hence FF era.
Scream and shout was a hit based off of Britney's old work which made her more comfortable
So she had confidence that BJ would be a success going into Vegas.
it flopped and she went through different phases:
1) disbelief and sorrow
2) withdraw and wanting to give up
Once she saw that her catalog alone keeps her vegas show with little promo going mixed with these pop girls not giving any originality, uniqueness, iconic moments she KNEW her job is not done. SHE HAS TO SAVE POP MUSIC with ICONIC songs, looks, performances, references as well as continue performing because outside of Beyonce no one is doing performers any justice
3) reinvigorating, reinspired and happy
4) confident and strong as well as sexy
= August 2015-present Britney.
I love her costume there as well
