The republicans DESPERATELY want a conservative judge after Scalia's death and Trump has a history of supporting liberals. He even isn't conservative rn so why would he appoint a conservative judge?

I hate how the Republicans have re-invented Bush 43 as some Hero of the Right when they didn't even want him to do campaigning in 2008 and 2012. He needs to stay in the shadows, in shame, where he belongs.

But like. The entire debate Cruz came across as a crazy bible thumper and Trump exposed him SO HARD I wouldn't think anyone could support him after that. Cruz didn't even try to defend himself from Trump's expose because he knew it was true

Journalists and the media really failed the American public in the aftermath of 9/11. They failed to tell the American people WHY 9/11 happened, which allowed Bush to sweep in, paint it as a black and white good guy/bad guy issue, allowed Islamophobia to run rampant, and worst of all let Bush invade Iraq which was something he had wanted to do before 9/11 even happened. Too much of the American public (particularly the right as evidenced by the debate) still go by Bush's narrative of 9/11 and the war. It's such a mess.

That actually may be overshadowed by Trump dragging Jeb . We'll see what the polls say though. That will determine the true winner

Personally I think Trump won. Bush too, he held his own and baited Trump to make fun of Bush's family in SC, a mistake by Trump
