It is extremely important to remember the ideological shift of the Republican and Democratic in the 1960s as a result of Nixon's southern strategy. Before then, the Republicans were usually more liberal (and in align with today's Democratic Party) and the Democrats were usually more conservative (and in align with today's Republican Party).

May he rest in peace, but JFK was an idealist who wouldn't have seen completed most of his goals had he lived to see them through. He didn't have the political connections or know-how to really do it.
It took LBJ with his Senate connections and the Great Society programs to do most of what JFK wanted to do. Domestically, LBJ was a phenomenal president.
Actually, I think that many of JFK's goals would have come to pass and had he lived, I feel like he would have been a President that fundamentally changed the face of American politics in an even greater way than he already kind of did.

I'm not! But I think he had the potential to rival FDR. Not in the same ways or for the same reasons, but he was an amazing man in quite a lot of ways - he was a brilliant President for the time he had. A full eight years would have been incredible.

Called him a liar, exposed his sabotage of other candidates (such as Jeb), and when Cruz tried to say what Trump would do Trump did the whole "you're not in my shoes how the **** would you know what I'd do?" thing, and called out Cruz on a BUNCH of other ********. It was brutal, I'm gonna have to rewatch it because it was (in Trump's worst debate) the best five minutes of his campaign and the worst five minutes for Cruz's
