Considering that she was extremely involved in her husband's presidency, I don't think it's unfair to blame her as well (unless you're talking about his actual affair with Monica which would definitely not be right). She gave speeches agreeing with what Bill was doing so it's not like she had no say in anything.
And yes she's experienced (she's been in a political office for most of her life), but plenty of people see her as a liar that's controlled by money and the establishment She's very untrustworthy to a lot of people. No male candidate she's up against has had controversies like Benghazi or the email-server issue. You need more than just experience to be a President.

Yes, we're saying it in this thread, but Bernie isn't being torn apart in the media or by the general populace for it.
I specifically meant Bill Clinton's actual sexual affair(s), which Hillary gets a lot of blame for by ignorant people. But I still don't think it's fair to hold her accountable for Bill's action. She was undoubtedly influential as First Lady and had Bill's ear and gave him advice, but she ultimately couldn't publicly go against him. It's always been and always will be the job of the First Lady/Gentleman to support their spouse's policies. There's evidence of Hillary working against DOMA behind the scenes, for instance, so not everything Bill did was reflective of her thinking
Benghazi and the email controversy are intensely partisan in nature; they have only been drummed up to hurt her image--as seen by the 11-hour testimony which produced nothing and past government officials maintaining private email accounts for state business. As Retro said before, millennials weren't around for Whitewater or even Lewinsky. So, it's very likely that the distrust stems from Benghazi and the emails when, on the whole, they've both been thinly-veiled smear campaigns.
