This is actually tea tbh.
It's also no coincidence that both genres have gone down so much in quality because of the rise of star power not always matching the quaity.
I mean hip hop and r&b are in the worst positions than ever before...maybe since certain pockets of 80s R&b not being the best.
90s r&b and hip hop remain king.
00s r&b and hip hop started to water it down a bit BUT still had enough gems
10s r&b and hip hop is a damn mess, joke, foolywang material.
It's hard to remember, easy to forget and it doesn't use influence properly.
I'm so concerned for the hip hop and r&B industry when the most exciting thing to come this decade was from that ugly r&B that teabagged some random chick in his performance at an award show because he was doing a convincing impression of Prince.
I forget his name.
SEEEEEEEE i can't even remember the song or the name of what was one of the best songs to come out from that genre this decade.
Bleep a pop emergency.
R&B/Hip hop emergency is a real thing
When Alicia Keys released Throat on Fire...I knew it was the beginning of the end for her.
I love her so much and am glad she had 5 good eras of music before this
