huh? a large amount of public colleges are actually just as good as private ones, and less expensive; in fact, there are some public universities in the US (like UVA where i live, which is what everyone with high grades where i live tries to get into) that are high ranking. most state universities are perfectly fine, and that's the majority of the public colleges in the US. some people's standards are way too high, i guess.

community colleges are a different matter. i don't know that much about them, actually.

It shows he has more pull against republican candidates with undeclared/independent voters. This can never be a bad thing. I'm pretty sure Clinton supporters are more likely to vote Sanders than the other way around, so whoever pulls better with independents would be the stronger candidate

More pull against Clinton*. He hasn't shown what he can do against Trump. But you're right in Clinton supporters more likely to support him rather than the other way. I don't think that'll mean much for the case of a stronger candidate but at least you have reasons that are concrete

No, I'm saying that we already support middle/high schools that have nothing but failing students so it'd be no different to support an equally bad college.

If we really want to fix the schools, there needs to be better policies and funding made available. A student that didn't learn in high school will most likely fail in college. We can't just let the cycle repeat itself. The entire education system (at least in Florida) needs an overhaul imo.

So you are telling me that UVA, the university that costs money, has a lot of people trying to get into it and is very competitive. I wonder how competitive it would get if it all of a sudden became free. What do you think? Do you think given the public education system in America that the poor and middle class would really be the ones benefiting most from a free public college system? I have a feeling many of those poor people and minorities would end up at that local public college that people never heard of, has low graduation rates, and low employment rates that require relevant degrees.

Umm, yes it's possible delegate wise. However that's highly unlikely given 60% of the vote is counted and she needs to sweep. At the end of these two primaries, Sanders should be up by 1-2 delegates (not counting supers) and he'll have the momentum and that's more important than any raw delegate win in terms of media coverage that people say he needs
