No one was gonna take Model seriously singing about fresh air
Why do people on this site act as if in 1997 and prior, pop music was this super sophisticated, uber respected genre that everyone had nothing but nice things to say about? Apparently Britney invented lip-synching, skimpy outfits, Hollywood female sexualization, superficiality, and auto-tune. Pop stars before her wore nun outfits onstage and sang about world peace and saving the environment apparently.
I guess her impact is just too much for some to handle.
Imagine if she didn't have a Drake feature for her lead single
