It's easy to dismiss a consistent problem as youth naivety/radicalism. It would be silly to do that two elections in a row, imo. I think almost any remotely viable candidate could steal young votes away from Hillary, as we've clearly seen. They aren't, and have never, connected with her.

I don't think the idea of a presumptive candidate is appealing to most regardless of age.

I honestly don't think Bernie is even a socialist or a democratic socialist. Compare him to some European democratic socialist, and he is still to the right of them. I haven't seen him advocate the take over of any industry. He wants to break up the banks not take control of them.

Agreed on your last point. It'll be very beneficial for Bernie if black voter enthusiasm is significantly down. But he's not a shoo-in with the moderate/conservative white Dems in SEC country either.

The idea that black voters are enthusiastic for any of these candidates is funny and untrue. Many will not show up to the polls. Whoever manages to motivate them will be doing themselves a huge favor.
