The gap could be closed though. Only 12% of the counties have reported thus far. A lot can change between then. So far, he's doing great. He was projected to do well, but he's exceeding those previous expectations though. Skipping Iowa, did him wonders on the campaign trail.

CNN exit polls showed that the voters wanted someone more liberal than Obama. That's not the case in the southern states which is where Bernie will have trouble.

NH voters aren't really as conservative as Iowa. Main reason why establishment candidates like Cruz and Rubio are losing, and more moderate candidates like Trump and Kasich are winning.

Not entirely true. 40% wanted more liberal. 41% wanted a continuation of Obama's policies.
