If you liked these songs so much then I don't see why you can't get into at least Desperado, Needed Me, Love On The Brain and Higher as they are somewhat similar to BBHMM and FFS at least in terms of sound/genre.
I know it sounds like I'm hating but you've no idea how much I want to love every track, Desperado is one of the most interesting for me so far but I'm still not getting that energy I normally feel from her entire discography.
Woo has a real grittiness and honesty to it that is growing on me.

Doesn't sound like your hating, just an unpopular opinion.
As for that energy you are talking about I think thats what makes ANTI different from her discography, she's recorded the material how she wanted to and despite the album having different sounds it has a cohesive mood/tempo/energy throughout. Usually Rihanna has an album full of bangers or mostly catchy songs and ANTI doesn't have any real hits, even Work itself is quite tame and doesn't go as hard as it could which was probably done on purpose as well.

I'm hoping it'll be a Rated R situation because I did not like it when it was released but about a year after I couldn't stop listening to it and it's probably the Rihanna album I go back to the most. Sometimes music, especially when it's a departure from the norm, can take a while to sink in.
Yes, the album is kinda low-energy. Someone in the base mentioned the lack of bridges and I'm sure that's a contributing factor. Weirdly enough, Love On The Brain/Higher may be the emotional peak of the album. They pick up in a way the rest of the album doesn't.

I'm listening to Love On the Brain right now and I agree, it's very different from the tracks before it and also the vocal highlight of the album. Higher definitely follows LOB rather than the vibe from the rest of the album, her voice is stunning in both.
I was so excited for this album and I can't get into anything, BBHMM and FFS were so good, why'd the direction change so much?
I can't even get into Work, her lack of diction just makes it sound like she's so apathetic. I could cry, maybe it'll be a grower. Obviously lots of people and critics love it, what am I missing?!
you understand she is using a dialec of the english that is spoken at the caribean.
I’ve been waitin' up all night
Baby tell me what’s wrong?
You're gonna make it right, make it all night long

Going to make it right, make it all night long
Kiss It Better is one of my least favorite tracks on the album. I would choose almost every song over it. I've tried to like it, but I can't help but feel like something huge is missing when I listen to it.
