What's even the point of this? Gaga hasn't released a big pop single since 2013, a year Spotify just started to really kick off and it wasn't even a really big streaming hit, despite passing 100M streams on the website.

Gaga, just as the other one, hasn't really profited yet of the new streaming era as much as her other peers. But that will most probably change by the time she releases her next record, when she will easily leave Brit's numbers in dust.

It's just such a pity comparison, considering Gaga is currently selling more catalog singles, more catalog albums and getting more streamed on YT, but rejoice on that, I guess, at least for the few upcoming months left.

Bey's streams didn't all come from Formation. She only performed that song.

It's not about singing your own songs, it's about appearing at the most watched event in the country and getting people interested in checking you out, buying your music and streaming your songs whether they knew you prior to the event or not.

Monsters got super cocky after Gaga's performance and as always started dragging everyone and everything else and bragging about it like it's their life's achievement. But now the numbers are out and Gaga's performance had the fewest viewers, her iTunes boost was by FAR the lowest and now it's revealed that her Spotify boost was also by FAR the lowest. Monsters never learn, so they can have several seats and stop all the excuses.
