It's sad that everybody is focusing on the numbers instead of the actual performances, but this is atrl and most stan numbers and not talent so I can't say I'm surprised

Ashtray SUCKED and got completely overshadowed by a local has-beyn and a coked out midget. Only thing worth noting was their exploitation of gay rights to get people to remember that they were onstage once people awoke from their naps when "Uptown Funk" started.
Though ratings are unreliable for gauging interest in general, the most fair way to test them are when that artist is the only draw. So you control for more variables.

No one outside of ATRL knew or cared what she was performing
ALL of the press she's getting is in regards to her dance-off with King Midget. Barely anybody even recognized that she performed a new song; they probably thought it was some Flawless remix or something.
