Anyways, the song is forgotten in US. Only went Platinum in sales, lacked Streaming (peaked #32 on Streaming Songs), and didn't have any good AirPlay at the end of the day.

If you think the song is forgotten in the US then you are just delusional. "Only platinum in sales" for a song you claim didn't have good airplay and streams  when will the others 
By the way, the song is Double Platinum so that means streaming couldn't be that bad overall or it sold more than 1M. Some things in your post don't add up.

Yes it has average sales (Platinum in 2014 wasn't above average for a Top 10), average airplay, and poor Streaming. How did that make it a strong memorable hit? It's not like it has strong recurrent airplay or streams today either, and staying Top 1,000 on iTunes is good but nothing amazing or uncommon for a Top 10 hit that's younger than 2 full years old.

i knew we couldn't count this one out as early as people were. i have no idea how it'll do in the long run, but the lack of red updates for a while is important for a song so many said was flopping.

honestly, i kind of hate coldplay's music, so i really hope this is only temporary so many people i know like them but i can't get into their music at all.
