They are played differently. Rugby players only suffer back injuries and Football players suffer head injuries. Two to three kids die of head injuries in High School every year even with helmets. Football players suffer serious head injuries and lower body injuries. Many can't even walk anymore . I doubt wives want their husbands to end up like Muhammad Ali and unable to even speak. But ok.
