I always thought people embracing different cultures is a beautiful thing.
Here in Germany loads of people wear Native American headpieces and nobody cares.I think the US is the only place where cultural appropriation is a big deal.
I don't think appreciation of a culture done correctly and respectfully is cultural appropriation and therefore offensive. But Princess of China IS offensive because it treated asian culture like a monolith (mess @ samurais and gueishas in a song about China) and insulting someone for being asian definitely is.

You know in high-school those people that never really get the memo that you don't want to hang around with them? So they follow you around all the time because they have nothing to do in their lives? How sad must that be.
