Bernie wants to make all public colleges and community colleges free. Sounds cute, right? Not when you're going to have to impose highly contentious and complicated Wall Street taxes to pay for it, or when you consider how it risks devaluing higher education to equate it to what a high school education used to be.
Hillary, on the other hand, advocates for debt free college. Not only is this more feasible in political terms, but it also has a massive benefit for private school students that would receive limited benefits from Bernie's plan.
Now, there are issues and benefits for each plan, but it's not quite so black and white.
