Republicans are still so hell-bent on being traditional though. They're really ruining any chance they have in the future. Like all the Republican presidential candidates still not being for gay marriage... it's legalized in the entire country move on, it's something you can't do anything to push back at this point.

I think in the future Democrats & Republicans will fade though, the idea of parties is really tired and only putting people in a box.

lol, it really is. I'm a born New Yorker, currently residing in N.C., and it definitely took some time getting use to how nice the common stranger is. Was just at the pizza shop the other day and this total stranger struck up a conversation with me. It's quite refreshing, actually.

It can be really annoying, especially in the elevator in the mornings. These people want to have full conversations.

Oh my god. And they are SO slow...with like everything. Maybe it's because I'm used to everything being rushed and fast paced but when I went to the mall and stores out there I was literally 10 seconds away from ripping all of my hair out because of how LONG the lines, dressing rooms, everything was taking. Between people having full blown conversations and the cashiers seeming like they were in slow motion ringing everything up and everybody taking they sweet ass time

The south is so slow omg. Idk how yall do it.

I can't see myself moving when I'm older. It's one of the most gay populated cities on Earth, the minorities are huge, but it's not hood/ratchet and still filled with a bunch of whites, everything is cheap compared to up North, and it's generally not too fast ala NYC but not too boring ala Seattle or something. It's the perfect mix. It's just more comfortable.

All these straight guys are secretly gay here, like it's really so true and hilarious

fff. Drunk fights happen pretty often downtown but I've never seen a physical fight on public transit. It's usually too packed or too empty for anyone to get really bothered.

I didn't dislike it. I enjoyed my time there very much. It was lovely...for vacation and temporarily. I would def visit again. But I could NEVER see myself living there.

It's probably just because it's so different. The only appealing thing to me is how cheap it is to live there (especially in comparison to this area because MESS.)
