If you want to be considered an album seller at any point in your career in US you should have one.

ANTI's pure sales are lower than the debut for Cheek to Cheek, though, and that was released during a particularly low point in her career, both in terms of sales and in terms of public image. I don't get why you're coming for her when she's probably going to do just fine?

If you're an album seller you can sell albums outside the album's first two months out though.
GGGB hasn't even sold 3M, it was released in the 2000's and almost had 10 singles. It's album sales are pitiful in US.

I hope there is another Cheek 2 Cheek. She's a much better jazz vocalist now, less try hard, she knows what she is doing and how to be intimate. She also knows to not screech like Tony Bennett does and not compete for the spotlight.

Teenage Dream was SUCH a slow seller.  Its weekly sales were so weak. But I do think she could do it with her next album.
Rihanna, on the other hand...
