This era might go the Unapologetic route. Floppy start, successful in the end. Diamonds was kind of a huge bomb when it first debuted. I remember it not even being top 10 like a week after it was up for sale

That's not true, it never left the top 10 on iTunes. Kesha's Die Young however was above it.

This era is set for a well departure. It resembles Unapologetic suprisingly much:
Top notch music/album.
Flawless imagery.
Diamonds debuts at #16, peaks at #1. Work debuts at #9, peaks at #1?

Mess, it went down to like #25 or something and everyone started calling the song underwhelming and then it went #1 and everyone called it his best song, including myself (but that's just because the song really grew on me).
