I've noticed a lot of Gaga haters on ATRL seem to be expecting 25 numbers from LG5 and claiming the Monsters said she'll slay that hard, but all the Monsters I've seen agree that Gaga will likely outdo ARTPOP, but won't be the end all be all of sales with LG5.
Why is it haters have a higher expectations of the queens success than fans?
She can only really go up from here. People had high expectations for artpop which is why there were so many meltdowns. If they have lower expectations this time around, then it won't be a big deal if it doesn't do that much. So haters who set low expectations are only setting her up for relative success; and those who set high ones set her up for inevitable failure.
Once again, so they can say "Gaga was so hyped, she was so praised, the monsters said she'd slay" but really the haters are the ones mostly hyping her up just so they have more "ammo" when she doesn't meet the supposed expectations.

The same reason they were so quick to call ARTPOP such a massive flop when it didn't do that badly all things considered. They have such high expectations for her for some reason, higher than any of the other Pop girls.

There's a large difference between "She's slaying and will outdo ARTPOP" and "Lady Gaga will be more successful than Adele could ever dream of + sell 25 numbers" though
