Hold onto your seat belt in case my memory gets a fact or something wrong, but...
Benghazi is tricky. The loss of life involved cannot be understated, but we have to look at all of the facts. Any requests for more manpower do not seem to have reached Clinton directly; her response seems to actually have been appropriate for the developing situation as time went on, and she has said that when she made the statements people characterize as "lies" they were still getting new information. She was not, by any means, the only person claiming the the things she said regarding the situation - several other officials suggested the same things. Furthermore, her "what difference does it make?" comment has been taken WILDLY out of context, and that probably did the most damage. I find all misconstrual of this situation, rather taking the time to find out the truth and respect her and the administration's ascertaining of information and disclosure of it, incredibly disrespectful to those who were lost. Taking things out of full context and demonizing her for Benghazi, as a matter of partisan politics, was quite frankly disgusting.
I'm surprised that her eleven hour testimony on the matter didn't shut it down completely, but voters my age still have "trust issues" with her and there can literally be no other source but this and the emails for them, because they were NOT around for any other "Clinton scandal" and the most famous one was the one in which she was a victim of her own husband. I don't get it. I saw tons of support for her via social media - be it Twitter, Yik Yak, or Facebook - coming from my generation when that hearing happened. Everyone agreed that she handled it well, that most of the Benghazi "scandal" was a Republican-led witch hunt, and that it wasn't an issue. Suddenly, we get to the caucus and the younger voters have "trust issues." Like, literally what? It goes to show how much this has damaged her.
With regard to the emails, we have absolutely zero proof that she personally violated any federal law and we have no indication that she will be prosecuted. We have no proof that any of the emails contained information that was classified at that time, that she generated those emails herself (as MUST be the case for ANY prosecution of Clinton herself), or that national security was put at risk. If the FBI decides that they do, then we will see what happens, but I will always firmly believe there was not a hint of malicious intent on her part in the email debacle. The way that it is being covered and portrayed is also concerning - people want a quick story on "a brand new Hillary Clinton scandal omg!" rather than wanting the full truth and to let her and the FBI and DOJ figure it out.

I hate to use the term "fall in line" but it is kind of true...

I hope you're correct, but an 84-to-13 lead for Sanders, coupled with the disgusting social media comments and verbal statements I've seen in the past day since she won, have me very concerned about how young voters see her anymore.
By far the most irritating thing is when I ask people what "trust issues" they have with her and they literally can't bring up anything solid, or they bring up one of those issues and I have to shut it down, or they hear me refute those things and they pull out the "oh but consistency" card.
I'm just outraged at my generation's reasons for refusing to consider her. If you agree with Sanders more, great. Caucus for him, vote for him, FIGHT for him! But don't attack Hillary Clinton when you don't know what you're talking about if it's just to score Bernie Sanders some political brownie points on Facebook.
