No really it isn't. Hence my question. The woman is a glorified prostitute who made "being a celebrity just for being a celebrity" popular.
Her music...is bad. No one has any respect for it, no one worth anything covers it, the legends don't mention it. Only Taylord can throw her some bone in an effort to appear "cool".
Her videography is not even remembered.
Her filmography...is barely celebrated. Where is the Oscar? She goes to all those cinema events and always comes out empty handed.
Her celebrity...okay. That's true. But that's all she has.
She's known for her romantic comedies, those movies were not made to impress the Oscar voters.
Her albums are generally bad but she had tons of great and smash singles, still remembered and played. Let's Get Loud didn't even chart in the U.S. and it's a classic.
She's still the best performer and her performances are always acclaimed. So yea, she's better than Shakira.
