We have that already. Sex education already talks about condoms and birth control, but emphasizes abstinence heavily... It doesn't work. It's obvious that if you never have sex, you won't get pregnant or catch an STD from someone. You should not have to spend a lot of dedicated time going over that. It's a waste of time, and people leave it still entirely uneducated on sex.
For instance, we don't cover sex issues for non-heterosexual sex. Which is an issue. Further, many people don't know that if you test for HIV with the common saliva swab test, you won't test accurately until 3 months after you may have gotten infected. So, if I went out and had sex with someone who was HIV+, and I became infected. I could not test for that and find out that I am now HIV+ until 3 months after that sexual encounter. A lot of people don't know that. That's an issue. Talking about abstinence is a waste of time.
