In America, we have metal coins called quarters. On one side is the head of George Washington. We typically call that side heads. On the other side is the Presidential coat of arms. We typically call this tails. When people have to decide something when it is a split decision they flip these things called quarters. One participant yells heads. The other tails. I honestly don't think that's necessary. Much of the rational there is that it would change votes, but I think that the caucuses are amazing. They allow a venue for discussion and debate before making a decision, allow for a venue for uncommitted voters to choose a candidate that best represents them, and still strives to be as pure, accurate, and official as possible.
I convinced three of our just 27 uncommitted voters to help Hillary in my precinct, had a great debate with an O'Malley supporter that swayed the people I was talking with... I loved it. I'm biased but I loved it.
