She didn't dominate urban and pop with as many singles and I honestly think had Rihanna never existed, pop radio would play Beyonce more even with her less pop friendly music.
of course she got great airplay but that hasn't been the case on pop for about 7 years when Rihanna has literally risen.
It's almost as if pop decided to go with Rihanna because she's younger and has more pop appeal.
I honestly don't think Beyonce stans were checking for Rihanna in mid 00s because she hadn't built her blueprint yet.
Because Navy has those stats, it will always be a reason for the Hive to not like rihanna.
