Adele doesn't have to pay for acclaim. Critics main problem with the album is the fact that she hasn't evolved, not that the album was bad. Even us stans agree she needs to do something different.
Oddly enough, the most panned song on the album is the one that sounds like a Taylor song.

I'm not surprised the Navy can't count given recent "sales" figures.
Oh, last I checked it had a 75 or 76. It must've been added a few weeks/months after album release.
