Trump and Hillary are both very polarizing figures, so that'd be interesting to watch. I think most independents would side with Hillary. I sincerely hope they wouldn't go for the xenophobic, sexist, arrogant candidate with no real platform, plan to get things done or knowledge of how D.C. operates.

I truly think everyone in the GOP is done except for Trump and Cruz (& possibly Rubio), we should start hearing about people dropping out left & right very soon.

I could see a chance for Cruz winning the IA caucuses with all the invalid candidates' supporters leaning for him as part of establishment politics instead of Trump, but let's see.

Ann Selzer predicted Hillary and Trump to carry Iowa. That pretty much seals the deal fkr them to win. and no I'm not making this up.

The NYT endorsing Clinton is...well expected. She has been a senator from NY. As for Kasich I'm happy! He deserves it

Regardless of who wins and by how much, I'm pretty excited to have an opportunity to participate in the Iowa caucus. As someone who loves politics so much, this experience and attending this school has been indescribably valuable to me. I can't wait!

She predicted the wrong Republican candidate in the last cycle, I'm not saying she's wrong but it just definitely doesn't "seal the deal" — Hillary is more likely to win Iowa but it's still nearly impossible to predict the final millennial turnout and how some undecided/O'Malley voters will be closing the small gap between B and H.

True she predicted the wrong Republican last time but she also put in her word that it was possible for that person to win. She said nothing of the sort for Bernie. Predicting the millennial turnout wasn't a problem for her in 2008 though. And O'Malley supporters are more likely to support Bernie but if he qualifies in most of his precincts that wouldn't do anything for Bernie. It's only if O Malley doesn't qualify. I mean of course voting has not happened yet and no one is perfect but if Clinton wins as predicted, it's pretty much over for Bernie.

If Bernie wins, then it'll be interesting and the battle may be as long as 2008 because there's no way he wouldn't win New Hampshire.

The democrat side is going to come down to who wins the winner take all states. Clinton and Bernie can both lose the first two states because the delegate count is marginal. Even if Bernie or Clinton win Iowa they will probably only get a couple more delegates than the other candidate

Agree, though Bernie has a better chance of upsetting in Iowa then Hillary does on New Hampshire. I predict they will both walk out with the same number of delegates after Iowa and New Hampshire

Hillary barely squeaks out a win in IA, Bernie wins NH in a landslide, Hillary wins SC in a landslide.
