I still won't forgive her for the rollout of the album.
Anyway, I love the album. I don't know where it is in my ranking, but she delivered something very anti. No club bangers. It's a mature album..and once again, to all the ones who want pop, she's still young and can go back to it with ease.
And for the critics who said she has no vision or trying to be artsy, that's a crock of ****..if she went full pop then they would have said she was generic or the overused "dated". I'm glad she stuck with her guns. Although BBHMM could have been on the deluxe album.
My faves from ANTi:
Consideration-This is my favorite from the album. LOTB is tugging at it's wig. But I love everything about "Consideration"..now I have to check out SZA's material. Thank you Ri.
"Yeah, I Said It", "Love On The Brain", "Kiss It Better", "Woo", "Same Ol' Mistake" and "Needed Me" are standouts. The ballads are good, but I'm not completely in love with them. And Never Ending sounds like Dido's "Thank You"..I instantly recognized that melody.
"Work" has grown on me a lot.
The album is too short imo. It's a full body of work that should be appreciated..and I think later on down the road, the naysayers will change their mind.
