Katy is actually a decent pop lyricist when she tries. Teenage Dream, TOTGA, WA are all superb.

Bonnie is really good at bring the whole youthful nostalgia thing to the table but other than that I honestly don't use her own personal efforts. Her voice isn't desirable and her songs are just too noisy. She should learn how to write in her range, I'm tired of hearing strained, autotuned notes in her entire discog

And Katy is the lead songwriter on all her tracks, and their work is a collaboration, and it's not like Bonnie could've kept those songs to herself. Without Katy, those songs wouldn't exist in their current form.

Somebody remains my favorite song from her.

I think an entire album would be a bit contrived, but a few urban-pop numbers a la Dark Horse would serve her well.
