But Beyoncé didn't avoid a first single.
She just didn't release one prior to the album release.
She still sent #2 hit Drunk In Love, which was stunted by over 1million people already owning the album (and song) before it hit that peak.
Rihanna will still have FW sales. She'll just hide behind the numbers of free downloads to create the illusion of success.
