This is definitely her most experimental album to date but it's missing the bops we've all grew to love from Rihanna. I feel like she failed to strike the balance between producing bops and being experimental at the same time. The album seriously drags in some parts and the lack of consistency from the track list is unsettling at times, making it hard to really get into. I also feel like this album sounds like other artists at some points and not Rihanna. This is not helped by the fact that the lyrics are very amateurish at times, but also incredible at other moments during the album. I can't give this album any lower than a 7 for Kiss It Better alone which is truly one of my favourite songs I've ever heard.
