She started with dancehall "inspired" music that was carefully crafted for her by record execs and Jay-Z.

There really isn't anything wrong with Rihanna being manufactured, but it is incorrect to say she has any form of artistry.

ST and ANTi are similar but different albums. ST is much more focused on Beyoncé, her voice, and the productions guides and/or compliments her vocal. Much more melody driven in comparison. ANTi is more pensive, a lot of the production taking control for a sizable chunk of the album. It's also a little bit more rambling and questioning - less amount of hooks.

Umm those people didn't give her attention at the beginning, she had virtually no promo, had to rely on big companies to endorse her videos and what not.
