It's amazing the amount of people who know "Bitch I'm Madonna", though I've just started dating a guy (and may need to urgently stop!) who didn't realize it was Madonna singing that song. I was just like

And yes I guess releasing all the singles months before the album was meh. All the fans who wanted to own those songs did, and they were on Spotify right so everyone had them to stream if they wanted. There was just never any reason for anyone to push them, they had leaked months earlier and were then released way before they became singles.
Still, you'd think the tacky GP would at least jump on a good song when they hear one. Suppose no one checks for Madonna, and people do lump her in with someone like Cher and other ageing stars who pump out music all the time that no one checks for (aka. Bowie until his death).
Upon Madonna's death bed, I look forward to everyone scurrying to her defence. Tacky they throw her under the bus now.
