It's what people who haven't experienced a club/warehouse party that goes hardcore House would say.
As Cain said, Billboard* tries to make their articles relateable to the simpletons. And if House is how they categorize this to make it comprehensible for them, then so be it. Who cares as long as they buy/stream/listen/enjoy it.
*Rolling Stone, my mistake. Was reading a BB article.
House =/= tropical house
Sorry you can't tell the difference. For now, I'll trust myself and the respected publications that have backed me up
Are you dumb?? Tropical house, means a house song with a house beat with tropical influences in its production. Educate yourself pls. Work is not even uptempo or has any house elements in it. Tropical house is a subgenre of deep house/house music itself.
Please learn the difference between dancehall/reggae and tropical house.
Dry! ...Me a desert
Nuh time to have ya lerkin
Him ago act like him nuh like it
You know I dealt with you the nicest
Nuh body touch me in the righteous
Nuh botha, text me in a crisis
I believed all of your dreams, adoration
You took my heart and my keys and my patience
House =/= tropical house
Sorry you can't tell the difference. For now, I'll trust myself and the respected publications that have backed me up
Girl just because you're so simple minded that you'll literally lump to anything doesn't make this any more 'tropical house' than you claim
It's not, it's easy to call it that for publications like RS because people like you don't understand the difference between ****ing Sorry and this
Were you calling Major Lazer 'tropical house' before Justin Bieber's latest singles were called that?
Like, you hear a term and just stick it to any breezy song now, it's just too simple
Actually it was my original thought. That's one of the first thing I said on Twitter this morning. I googled some reviews because I know I wasn't wrong and a respected publication will surely agree with me.
Now if only you can all stop saying Work isn't on trend, we will all get along
You always rubbed me the wrong way but this is just supremely narcissistic and gross.

Haha the only simpletons here is you and the others. I'm pretty sure you don't listen to anything else besides top40 filler. And you obviously didn't bother reading the article since you can't even get the name of the publication right.
Work just like many Rihanna hits just follows whatever's trending.
Don't expect us to clock you when you say otherwise
