She was able to hold her own against many of them in 2011 with good material, so she could probably do the same in 2016 with good material. If she releases something of Britney Jean quality, though, she'll be overshadowed just like she was in 2013.

Taylor Swift, Adele, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Drake, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, etc. all released or were active in 2011. 2016 is going to be a busy year, but it doesn't seem that it is going to be any more packed than 2011.
I need Britney to serve good visuals this era. I feel like the way she looked in the Scream & Shout video was a big part of the success of the song, coupled with the fact that it was pretty radio friendly and catchy, unlike Work Bitch.
Pretty Girls kinda ruined that image, and everything else, though, so I hope she's learned from it (I take it she has with these recent videos?).

I can see why she didn't take "Graffiti My Soul" because it wouldn't have fit on In the Zone (although it could have replaced "Brave New Girl"), but she should give them another chance.

i think she signed for 2 years (?) and yeah her team and britney's team probably had a meeting and changed the stage together. i'm not sure though, never really seen any recent jlo interviews
