This album is alot better then i expected I loved Alive from the get go, I kinda slept on the promo tracks but Bird Set Free, Cheap Thrills and Reaper are pretty great tbh. I was gonna review but Ima just rank them. I also added My Arena and Freeze You Out so deal with it

and the whole animal call out is half baked. If she had built a whole idea on this... it would've been a lot more genuine.

but as it is... It feels forced and "try hard."

The song is fun, Im not gonna deny that.. and I do like it. but I'm not suprised Shakira rejected it, because it falls short on authenticity. BUT this is something I've been noticing about "This is Acting" in general. Like I also understood why Adele didnt go for that other song; it's because (although good), the song falls short on getting the whole "Adele" feel.

Shak could have changed the lyrics and the production tbh

Broken Glass: 9/10 - cute
Fighting a Sandstorm: 7/10 - the chorus is amazing
Footprints: 10/10 - it reminds me of "Eye of the Needle", I love it
House on Fire: 7/10 - only for that "I neeeeed you" cause I love it. Hoping it's a grower
Move Your Body: 10/10 - the first 5 seconds already slayed me I hear Shakira singing this
Space Between: 6/10 boring
Summer Rain: 3/10 - another filler, that's so bad

This tbh. It's not supposed to be a cohesive body of work at all. Some songs are a bit more throwaway than others, but they're all at least decent.
