when monsters brag about bad romance's 2010 record (being the most watched video at that time) and then come to syg and act like views dont matter
Back in 2010 it was an achievement. I mean, I think you can deduct that getting a billion views doesn't mean a thing anymore when people like Meghan Trainor are getting there

the thing is, views mattered back then. Streaming wasn't at it's peak. Now even flop songs can have a ton of views. Focus already has like 340M and it sold 380k copies so far
The only thing that GaGa has done between 2015-present that has made any sort of lasting impact on the GP is her Oscar's performance, which I should mention is well-deserved. It's iconic.
Just three days after Lady Gaga took home a Golden Globe for her performance on American Horror Story: Hotel, the FX anthology series went up but ended down. While jumping 22% in both the 18-49 demo and viewership from its January 6 episode, AHS: Hotel hit a finale low with the end of its fifth season.
When Lana stans always brag about BTD sales and then claim they don't care about sales when we drag her other albums sales

Bad Romance gets dragged for its video views but I can't think of the last time a song sold 12 million worldwide in pure sales. It was also more significant as a viral video than all those 1 billion viewed videos for RIAA to have created Diamond certifications for songs because of it.
