I mean her aims are specific enough but aims are not plans. I'm not seeing a rhyme or reason for how any of this can be achieved. It looks pretty arbitrary. Is there an article explaining how she plans to reduce costs and what not?
Defend the Affordable Care Act. Hillary will continue to defend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) against Republican efforts to repeal it. She'll build on it to expand affordable coverage, slow the growth of overall health care costs (including prescription drugs), and make it possible for providers to deliver the very best care to patients.
Lower out-of-pocket costs like copays and deductibles. The average deductible for employer-sponsored health plans rose from $1,240 in 2002 to about $2,500 in 2013. American families are being squeezed by rising out-of-pocket health care costs. Hillary believes that workers should share in slower growth of national health care spending through lower costs.
Reduce the cost of prescription drugs. Prescription drug spending accelerated from 2.5 percent in 2013 to 12.6 percent in 2014. It’s no wonder that almost three-quarters of Americans believe prescription drug costs are unreasonable. Hillary believes we need to demand lower drug costs for hardworking families and seniors.
Transform our health care system to reward value and quality. Hillary is committed to building on delivery system reforms in the Affordable Care Act that improve value and quality care for Americans.
Hillary will also work to expand access to rural Americans, who often have difficulty finding quality, affordable health care. She will explore cost-effective ways to broaden the scope of health care providers eligible for telehealth reimbursement under Medicare and other programs, including federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics. She will also call for states to support efforts to streamline licensing for telemedicine and examine ways to expand the types of services that qualify for reimbursement.
Wth is that supposed to mean? It's just words. What you believe is not enough. Do you have a plan, Hillary?
The lil hillstars love to pull the card of "Oh Bernies campaign runs on false promises that he wont be able to achieve". Hillary isn't even making any promises to begin with.
The fact of the matter is this: Yes, some moderate Republicans would support Bernie over Cruz or Trump. But there are some liberal-leaning independents who would rather support a Republican candidate than Sanders. Some right siders may jump ship, but you're all seemingly ignoring the fact that, if Sanders is the nominee, there WILL BE some left siders defecting, as well.
This next point isn't scientifically supported, just me pontificating. But I feel like some of the elderly moderates (in which Hillary is dominating Bernie) would be WAY more likely to be swayed Republican if Bernie is the nominee. And considering they're one of the most historically reliable voting blocs, that worries me a bit.
Apparently if Cruz gets the Republican nomination some Republicans will start supporting Bernie. i.e. Senator Ricard Burr (R-NC)
Honestly, seeing the Republican Party turning their backs on Cruz to such enormous effect (to the point that John McCain, after Trump made fun of him being TORTURED as a Prisoner of War and publicly called him a loser, chose to attack Cruz and start a birther movement for him instead of going after Trump) is so interesting. I imagine he is not going to be having fun in Congress the next term or so. He's been abandoned and assassinated by his own party.
New poll out Today has HRC up 29 in Iowa. No one knows what's going on lol. I think they're close with HRC at a slight advantage.
Think I'm just going to start avoiding polls at this point
Only a few days left, I remember when I was 10 and watching the 2008 primary results on CNN, it was so exciting to see the numbers change at the bottom even though I barely understood what they meant. I was a huge Hillary supporter back then.
I like Bernie, but i don't think he can win an election, even if he were the nominee
He has like almost zero african american support (and low hispanic #s as well)
Plus Republicans would tear him apart (he's a bad politician and poor debater)
As much as i dislike HRC, at least she can/will win

If he became the Democratic nominee, wouldn't he have minority support on lock no matter what? It's becoming a nominee without minority support that's the problem for him.

He would definitely have the minority support if he were the nominee. It just wouldn't be as strong as the support the minorities showed for Obama/will show for Hillary. But yeah I'd still expect him to lead by about 30-40 points with them

Yeah but (minority) voter turnout would probably slump to like 40% or less
It's odd bc he's the most racially conscious candidate and actually has a solid policy on racial injustices etc (maybe he should go on a black church tour and do viral hip hop dances on Ellen like Hillary--not)
