That's true. I believe the person one was supposed to come off years ago but there were ethical issues because they wanted the financial one to stay on. That's really the only reason why Britney is still under one, lol.
You can talk about the conservatorship all you want, but at least Britney can choose to still do pop while others are scrambling to find other genres to bank on while they still have some power. If Gaga could do pop she would do it and not Jazz. She didn't have a choice.
