No, but it's strange. I'm not saying blacks shouldn't complain, The next day after the nominations were announced the black night show hosts complained, Jada D!kette complained, Chris Rock calls the Oscars the "white BET". But I haven't read a word from Latinos.
Gimme a break, this isn't the 50's. Do I think that there should be more roles and more recognition for black actors in Hollywood? Sure. But to act like there's a systematic racism within the Academy and trying to FORCE them to nominate black actors just so they can feel happy and included is pathetic.
Again, if black actors/directors want to be nominated to the Oscars so much, give better performances and make better movies. Which they haven't been doing.
And the 1950s weren't the 1750s. You kinda don't get to decide when progress ends.
