But... blacks made an award show just from themselves? Why is it ok for the BET Awards to be strictly around and only nominate black artists, but the Oscars are so evil and racist for one year that they deservedly didn't nominate black actors due to lack of good performances?

Because awards like the BETs were created because of the situation that the Oscars are currently being highlighted for?
