This thread is like "post any male models you think are hot in underwear" / *insert something sexual* instead of actually discussing about their achievements, their art and career. It's quite depreciating, considering there are tons of male models who are rather successful in their professional careers but do not look anywhere near half of the models being posted here.

Anyway - Congrats to Zhao Lei for snatching a slot under The Money Guys and Top Icons. It's nice to see a male asian model on the list. Although his works are not mostly based from the West, it is still an impressive accomplishment. He has been in numerous campaigns in Asia.

He seriously does. His '14 Folio Magazine spread is the evidence of it.



And yes, this is the issue that I want to raise as well. We know Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss etc. due their line of work and accomplishment in modelling industry. But people can barely name any male supermodels - Unless you're really fond of male models, then you know who they are. Other than that, I doubt it, it's just another "oh i think hes a hot model but idrc who he is and idrc if hes successful model or not" (the post above me is the evidence of that - no names or whatsoever). That's why it's great to discuss about their career because that is what lacking as of now.

I'm quite glad that Lucky Blue Smith is gaining attention in the media as a male model because of his booming popularity. He's one of the fewest male models who doesn't act as an accessory but a front runner of his campaign.

Why did he dye his hair again? The icy blonde hair was what made him stand out from the rest and kickstarted his career.

LBS went back to his regular hair color iirc [reg blonde/brown ish] and they honestly casted him because he's popular.

He didn't speak enough of it for me to tell (his pronunciation was spot on so...), but his was also back when it was his first season of walking iirc, so I imagine his English has since improved. He's probably fluent since most people I know his age who live in/around Milan were taught English in schools.

I was actually just looking at a video from Versace FW 15/16. His English is great, I honestly thought it was gonna be a bit messy I don't know why.
