There's nothing wrong with watching the abysmal Tsukihime adaptation and that 2006 FSN one, it helps you appreciate quality more tbh.

Yes finish it and then watch F/SN: Unlimited Blade Works (2014) to see the difference in quality and also to understand the story better. And then watch Fate/Zero which is the best one.
