Drake is universally loved. Old people, young people, white girls, black girls, white guys, black guys. Everyone loves him, he's the most universally appealing artist right now. There's nothing embarrassing about him, and literally everyone was stanning Hotline Bling just two months ago, and stanning for Back to Back three months ago. Rap legends love him and have given him his dues, critics also love him (granted he's not as strong with critics as Kendrick, but his stuff is loved by critics).
The whole "it's embarassing" to like Drake shtick is like 2011 old. Everybody has admitted they love him, collabed with him, or wanted to be in his crew by now. Lol.
Drake is looked at as an artist. Like literally 90% of the Hip-Hop community knows the phrase "Views from the 6" and the album hasn't even dropped. He's an artist everyone keeps tracks of. His MIXTAPE was the top-selling Rap album of 2015; he clearly is liked and viewed as an artist. You cannot be denying this lmao.
