Nothing Was the Same was so great. He really explored all over just like Take Care, but it sounded completely different.
Worst Behavior, 305 to My City, All Me to Hold On, From Time, Connect. It felt more polished than Take Care too.

Notice how both GKMC & TPAB are both AOTY-nominated and two of the most critically acclaimed rap albums (outside of MBDTF) this decade.

Yeah no. Drake has AOTY material and I don't need critics to agree with me. Especially not the same critics who chose Macklemore over Kendrick. Critical acclaim is great, but it certainly doesn't put anyone over someone and I'm never gonna say "This album was SO much better, the 89 on Metacritic is proof!". Who cares.
People who need to pull out critics to show their opinion on why an album is top material are the worst.

I wonder when Anna will step down from Vogue.
I am SO interested in who's gonna take over.
I already feel bad for them because of the shoes they'll have to fill

I prefer Drake over Kendrick like most of the GP but one is clearly an artist while the other is a hit maker.
Drake talks about the same thing in all his songs. He's a 50 Cent / Nelly type....but it looks like he'll have more longevity. Him being so appearing to the whites helps him x100.
Let's not forget that Kanye wasn't a top selling rapper either. 50 Cent smoked him in 2004/5. And in 2007/2008when Kanye outsold 50, Lil Wayne was top dog.
Kendrick has so much more respect than Drake and if he can keep the musical output as good as it is, he'll win in the long run.

Some days I'm in my Yeezys, some days I'm in my Vans
If I knew y'all made plans I wouldn't have popped the Xans
I know some fans who thought I wouldn't rap like this again
But the writer's block is over, emcees cancel your plans
I'm 38 years old, a 8 year old with rich ***** problems
Tell my wife that I hate the road so I ain't never drivin'
It took 6 months to take the Maybach all matted out
And my assistant crashed as soon as they backed it out
God damn, got a bald fade, I might slam
Pink fur, got Nori dressing like Cam, thank God for me
Whole family gettin' money, thank God for E!

But besides that, NWTS wasn't as good as TC, IMO.

Take Care was his closest effort, and perhaps his closest album of being viewed as a potential "classic". NWTS was fine, but nothing more than overall outstanding.

If you get good grades, are an athlete/club member, and have a job/some volunteer work (not even a necessity) you CAN get into some state school, which is better than nothing. And if you can't, community colleges hardly reject anyone and can A) cut down your cost of college immensely B) lead to a B.A/higher degree and C) provide you with some sort of education. There are loans, grants, financial aid (as FD says, "the BROKER you are, the more college is paid for") and scholarships. And fine, if college isn't for you, what about a trade school? Cosmetology? Tech? Nursing? Culinary? Like I said, there is SOMETHING out there for everyone. It's not about life being easy. I don't and will never subscribe to the idea that there are zero options. There is always an option.

true, it just seems reckless to just call them lazy. maybe people need to be more aware of what opportunities are available to them, but as I said the system needs to change too.

I prefer Take Care 10000x compared to NWTS, it was more vulnerable, more experimental, better lyricism but didnt age as well I guess. I need Heartbreak Drake to come back in Views

I've been gone for a month and that weird "Madonna"/Gaga gay stan is still obsessed with me
I'm not talking to myself, I'm clearly having two conversations with RVO about fashion and the plight of blacks today.
Stop saying stupid things just because you want something to say.

Giselle let's talk about how awful Kylie is. I'm so over her tbh.
Kim is such a good person- so professional, loved by everyone she works with, she has a fun personality, etc.
Kylie is SO awfully boring and stupid and apparently a mess to work with. I can't stand to see her on the show. So dull. Even more than Kendull.
The Jenner girls don't have IT like the Kardashains do.

It does. I think something that isn't stressed enough is the need for good guidance counselors in the inner-city schools to make these kids believe that better things are possible.
