HITS updates a few times today and tomorrow with various percentages in, such as the 37% in. The percentage is the percentage of retailers NOT the percentage of sales so really, the lower updates like this don't give much indication at all of what the final chart will look like.

The predictions HITS made earlier in the week are much more representative of the final chart than these updates. Although clearly Miley will be a big suprise this week seen as she wasn't even mentioned but HITS went down to about 75k:

Carrie Underwood (19/Arista Nashville) 100-120k
John Mayer (Columbia) 90-110k
* Shakira (Columbia) 85-100k
50 Cent (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 85-100k
Twilight Saga: New Moon (Chop Shop/Atlantic) 85-100k
Norah Jones (Blue Note/EMI) 85-100k
Taylor Swift Fearless (Big Machine) 85-100k
Michael Jackson's This Is It (Epic) 75-90k
Casting Crowns Peace on Earth (Provident/Reunion) 75-90k
Taylor Swift Holiday Collection (Big Machine) 75-90k  |

 The chart is only at 37%. It will look radically different once it's complete.   |

The percentage is the total of stores, not total of sales, huge stores (like Target, Wal-Mart, etc) in huge markets (like New York, Los Angeles, etc.) are usually counted after the 50%...  |

 | There's no set times, sometimes it's in a few hours where as other times it's more like 24 hours.  |
