Personally I'm going to go with Clinton here. For one, Martin didn't get as nearly as enough time to make some sort of impact. But she had the edge over both 2 or 3 times throughout the debate.

As an independent (who may be a democrat after this 2016 cycle kii) I agree with you. Terrible questions with irrelevant answers on an irrelevant night. Who watches debates at this time anyway?

I missed the first half but it looked like Hillary to me. When Bernie wasn't talking about Super PACs and big banks, he brought up some good points aside from a few weak moments. He's really improved with his foreign policy. The one thing I really appreciate about Hillary is that she is specific to a T. She was dropping names, acts, events, situations without even blinking.

Hillary by far. It wasn't as great a performance as her first debate, but she was constantly on-point, had the receipts, had the attitude, challenged Sanders, emphasized differences, and talked about the right issues and the right things. Sanders didn't keep up as much as the last couple times.

This debate was indeed the least eventful and had the worst questions. It needed to be more - it really didn't change things. I think it'll help Hillary win in Iowa, but it wasn't nearly enough to give her a significant boost or to give Sanders a definitive lead there instead. It just wasn't as heated or exciting a debate as the others.

I don't entirely agree with that. Hillary changed her approach for this debate. All the other debates was her defending herself against her contemporaries and focusing her offensive attentions towards the to-be Republican nominee... Not this time. She let Bernie be in the spot light and go after him and it exposed him on his weaknesses and hence why he sounded a lot more redundant in this debate than in other ones. Just my opinion, but I do agree that Hillary won by far.

I honestly felt that this was Bernie's worst. His constant pivoting back to campaign finance was a weak point and an easy target; he failed to address the major issues in a way that contradicted Hillary and was actually significant; he was called out in terms of guns and party lines and supporting Obama (the latter of which will affect his support from establishment-supporting voters); Hillary consistently brought out receipts against him; and he didn't make a strong case for his differences on healthcare or foreign policy (mostly cosigning Hillary on the latter).

If a debate went this way and had a ton of viewership, it could have helped Hillary a lot. I honestly do wish there were more debates; I don't hate DWS at all, but I wish she would have had more. Not because she's buddies with Hillary - but because it's the exact opposite of what people thought. Hillary actually would have benefited more with these debates getting more viewers.
